Does anyone have any ballpark figures for what it takes to get into top-grossing list these days on iTunes?

I've been offered a place as the first employee on a funded startup in san francisco. What is the typical package someone in my position should expect? If it is hard to say a typical package, can anyone share their experiences with me or any ballpark figures?
